Dedication

An encounter with Ron in August of 2001 (fate or chance?) led serendipitously to this collection of songs. Diverse inspiration and mood conjured up these musical images. Usually written in the we hours with only a guitar or a piano for company, they blossomed into these recordings with the talents and energies of a few gifted people. Douglas Barnett added a structure and feel that flows. Michael Ferenci's additional orchestration filled the songs to the brim with lushness or intensity as needed. Kelly Kunz rounded out the arrangements with perfectly interwoven background vocals. And the players, what magic! Ron, your connections, technical knowledge, and wonderful "ear" are immensely appreciated.Your good nature and energy were instrumental to all this happening, thank you. Finally a thank you to" my parents, who love and live music in their house; my brothers, whose intelligence, love and talents exceed any brother's wildest desires; my son, Kyle; and my extended family and friends, too numerous to list, but too wonderful to forget mentioning.
